Meet our founder
After years in the beauty industry and running an online store for nail products, Donna knew firsthand how time-consuming and exhausting hand-painted nail art could be. Long hours spent perfecting tiny details, aching backs, and endless days in the salon—she experienced it all. And, time and time again, she was asked the same question: “Where can I buy these nail art designs?” But the answer was always the same: they weren’t stickers. Every detail was hand-painted with care.
This constant demand sparked an idea in Donna’s mind. She realized that not everyone had the time, patience, or skills to create intricate nail art by hand, but there was a major gap in the market. Existing options, like stickers and decals, often didn’t look realistic and were difficult to use. Donna knew there had to be a better way—so Twisties was born.

After meeting through a mutual acquaintance, Donna and Daan instantly connected. Daan, a product developer with a keen eye for innovation, brought structure to the vision. He had the expertise in advertising and marketing to turn Donna’s idea into something tangible. Together, they worked tirelessly to refine the product and bring it to life—every step driven by passion and perseverance.
Every great product needs the perfect design to match. That’s where Cédric, a trained graphic designer with an unmatched attention to detail, came in. Cédric helped bring Twisties to life with beautiful branding, flawless packaging, and stunning design work.
